If i use this component and convert the K2 articles to Joomla articles, will the K2 article remain (can i still use them on my site?) of are the deleted?

I have migrated the K2 content over to Joomla content with no problems, but the K2 Extra Fields aren't being migrated over and any K2 Items which had extra field values set aren't being migrated as Joomla Custom fields. Have I done something wrong please?
