Add custom Head Tag, CSS and Javascript to Joomla article
By adding a custom head tag, CSS and JavaScript to your Joomla article, you can solve the following problems:
- Add JavaScript code, customize the template via CSS for each article.
- Add META tags, structured data to make articles display better on search pages or social networks.
- Integrate JS libraries like image browser, lightbox from open projects.
This plugin supports websites using Joomla 3, 4, 5 and 6.
After downloading and installing this plugin. Go to System > Plugins > Content - Custom Head Tag and CSS and Javascript > Enable it.
Then, go to the article management section, add new or edit articles. Now you will see a new tab called Advanced Customization, click on it to start:
Enter the content for these fields and get started.
1. The "radio buttons" extra field doesn't transfer the values in the additional field, e.g., "yes" or "no," and only enters certain values into the #__fields_values database.
2. The "textarea" extra field with the "Use editor" option checked converts to "textarea" when it should be "editor."
3. In K2, the extra field group is assigned in the category. In Joomla Articles, the category is assigned in the extra field. It would be nice if this were automatically completed. A checkbox could be added if someone doesn't want this option.
