How to Protect an Article with a Password in Joomla?

Sometimes you have an important page that you don't want every visitor to your site to have access to. The first thing that comes to mind is to make this page accessible only to members, but then you realize that you don't want all your members to have access to this page. Just a few members. So you need an extra level of security on that page. That extra level of security means protecting the site with a "password".

This extension will help you to password protect a Joomla article.

Is there any way to modify the language on the page? The text is "Press correct password to read post". This is confusing as there is nothing to press. It should read type or enter and there should be a clear box to fill in the password, which is not easily viewable or eminently clear at a glance. And unlock should say something like submit or click here. I'm guessing this is in the code, and not editable, but just checking, thank you!

@Jennifer Stephenson You can edit/replace these phrases from the language pack of this plugin: administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.plg_content_password.ini

About the password input box, it may be affected by the template you are using. If possible, please give me the URL of the article where you put this plugin, I will make it more prominent🙂
